The Starkloff Youth Programs team is proud to announce that the DREAM BIG program is undergoing a major change this year in light of the recent COVID-19 social-distancing orders: The DREAM BIG Career Camps are being brought to students virtually this year!
Our indispensable partners at Nestlé Purina PetCare are helping us pave the way into the virtual space. They are brainstorming structure and technology that will be needed to connect our partner companies to students at home in a secure and engaging way.
“DREAM BIG has been an outstanding way for Nestlé Purina to partner with the Starkloff Disability Institute in our efforts to help students with disabilities think about future career opportunities and believe in the potential they have to achieve their personal goals,” Rodney White, Director of Diversity & HR Strategy at Nestlé Purina PetCare tells us.
“We feel that despite our current situation with the global pandemic, this event must go on as planned. The teams at Purina and Starkloff are working diligently to put together a virtual program that will be both educational and fun for the students,” Rodney details.
We are excited to have the opportunity to continue our one-of-a-kind Career Camp that encourages students to DREAM BIG about their futures and helps them plan for it accordingly.
This is a new frontier for all of us, but we are confident that students will have the same life-changing experience of years past. Registration is still open, and we hope to see you at this year’s camp.
