The DREAM BIG College Application and Transition Planning Workshop took place on April 12. Three families attended.
Steven Koehler gave a wonderful presentation about how to prepare to follow your dreams. Students had the opportunity to set short- and long-term goals and create a toolkit to keep them organized. They reported leaving the event feeling slightly overwhelmed but very prepared, and parents were able to get a lot of their questions about the transition answered.
As Don Fitzgerald, a parent of a DREAM BIG student said, “The presentation was a good overview of the basics of the application process.”
The night was a big win for both students and parents!
