Our Fall Capstone Course launched this week, and for the first time ever we are able to host the class in our brand new SDI Classroom in our office downtown!  Ten job candidates will be calling the classroom home every Tuesday and Thursday for the next eight weeks.

“It is truly heart-warming to welcome our candidates into our office space,” says Lori Becker, Chief Operations Officer. Previously, Starkloff Career Academy classes were held at Brentwood Community Center and Maryville University South County Campus. “Now we get to meet and greet the candidates on a regular basis, not just special events.  And they know there is a team of people working hard to support them.”

Business Manager Brian Chao oversaw the remodel of the repurposed space in SDI’s downtown location, at the corner of Clark and 11^th streets. “We have a great location, and I’m excited to bring more people to it,” says Brian. “I think we’re going to see many benefits from having our own classroom on site.”
