SDI is proud to announce that enrollment is now open for the Spring Course of the Starkloff Career Academy. Classes begin on February 19. This is the best career advancement program designed for people with disabilities in St. Louis, and 80% of participants find jobs of their choice.

The Starkloff Career Academy is a unique learning opportunity that shares the knowledge and experience of recruiters and hiring managers from the region’s top employers, including Ameren Missouri and Mercy.

The course includes 20 sessions centered on important professional development topics. Sessions will focus on resume and cover letter writing, networking skills, public speaking, and presentation skills.

Here are the details:

Dates: February 19th – April 25th

Time: Sessions are Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30am – 12:30pm

Location: NEW SDI Classroom at 133 S. 11th Street Suite 500 (conveniently located near public transit and free parking in downtown St. Louis)

Cost: There is no out-of-pocket cost for candidates. Fees may be covered by services providers or candidates may apply for scholarships.
