Special Event: What is DREAM BIG?

Posted On:

The next DREAM BIG Special Event is coming up on Monday, December 3, at Affton High School. This informational session will help families prepare for the transition process.

Moving from high school to adult life is a challenge for everyone, but a disability adds an extra layer of complexity. If you are starting to think about your disabled child’s life after high school, “What is DREAM BIG?” gives parents and students the opportunity to learn about available resources that ease the transition to college and work.

The event features a presentation about the new DREAM BIG program at Starkloff Disability Institute and a transition-process panel for parents to learn the benefits of DREAM BIG from other parents, students and corporate partners. The night ends with a workshop for students to set goals for the future and identify key resources they need to achieve those goals.

Life doesn’t end for your student after high school. DREAM BIG with us and learn about the endless possibilities available to you and your student.
