SDI is pleased to welcome its newest board member, Ron Maurer. As the Diversity and Inclusion Director of Express Scripts, Ron brings a plethora of applicable knowledge and experience to our board.

He regularly assists with developing Affirmative Action programs at Express Scripts, and maintains awareness of any new AA or equal opportunity legislation, regulation, or judicial ruling. He also collaborates and consults with business partners to ensure AA compliance.

“Having worked with the Starkloff Disability Institute, I know their programs and services are top-notch,” Ron says. “As a Board Member, I’ll actively participate in their mission of being the workforce, workplace disability advisor.”

Ron is replacing Susan Stith from Express Scripts. Susan had to resign because she was unable to attend board meetings. She asked to replace herself, and keep Express Scripts represented on the board.

Charlie Claggett, the Chairman of the SDI Board’s Nominating Committee reports that “Ron is a person with a disability who has contributed longtime service to Express Scripts. He is currently working with Colleen to set up a visit to Express Scripts for our DREAM BIG Summer Career Camp. He also managed DREAM BIG Summer Career Camp for our pilot group of teens last summer.

“Ron is very enthusiastic about being able to join our Board,” Charlie adds.
