St. Louis leaders Bhavik R. Patel and Kimmy Sauer recently joined the Board of Directors of the Starkloff Disability Institute.
Bhavik R. Patel joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard in 2004 and is the firm’s Managing Partner and Chairman of the Executive Committee. Additionally, he is the Chair of the firm’s Wealth Planning Group and Special Needs Planning Group. He practices in both the Business and Business Litigation Practice Groups and focuses in wealth/tax planning and administration, business/corporate planning, special needs planning, probate and trust litigation, FINRA litigation, and trademarks.
Over the last four years, Bhavik has also enjoyed teaching Practical Aspects of Wealth Planning and Drafting for Washington University School of Law and Graduate Tax Program. Prior to joining Sandberg Phoenix, Bhavik worked at a tax law boutique in St. Louis County.
Kimmy Sauer currently leads Boeing’s Human Resources and Information Technology Career Foundation Programs. In this role, she focuses on accelerating development of 80 high-performing early career professionals through leadership and technical skill development, mentoring, and robust rotational experiences.
Kimmy has over eleven years of progressive human resources experiences across many functions, divisions and businesses. Internal to Boeing, she has held multiple HR Business Partner positions supporting Engineering, Finance and Test for Boeing Defense, Space & Security. In addition, Kimmy brings external HR and recruiting experience from a local healthcare company.
Kimmy’s lifelong passion for business drove her to earn an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and dual graduate degrees in Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development from the University of Missouri. She also holds two HR certifications: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
