Applications Open: Missouri Youth Leadership Forum 2025 

Attention Missouri high school students with disabilities—this is your time to shine! Applications are now open for the 2025 Missouri Youth Leadership Forum (MO-YLF), happening July 15–19 at Mizzou (University of Missouri-Columbia). This FREE, five-day, overnight leadership program is your chance to build confidence, learn essential life and advocacy skills, explore career and college opportunities, and connect with other students who share your drive and determination.

Throughout the week, you will:

  • Participate in engaging workshops
  • Experience college life
  • Hear from successful adults with disabilities
  • Take part in exciting events like adaptive sports night, a talent show, and a dance!

You’ll also gain a better understanding of your disability, learn about disability rights and the legislative process, and leave with a clear path toward your goals in education, employment, and independent living.

You’re eligible to apply if you:

  • Are between 16 and 21 years old
  • Have a diagnosed disability
  • Live in Missouri
  • Are currently enrolled in high school or graduating by May 2025
