About the Course

The Starkloff Career Academy Capstone Course is a unique learning opportunity for career-oriented professionals with disabilities. The Course shares the knowledge and experience of recruiters and hiring managers from Starkloff Disability Institute’s 28 partner companies including Boeing, Centene Corporation, Enterprise Holdings, Nestle Purina PetCare, and Wells Fargo Advisors.

The course’s 20-sessions focus on professional development including how to write a standout resume and cover letter; becoming a better networker; strengthening your public speaking and presentation skills, and how, when and why to disclose a disability in the workplace.

Time: Sessions are Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30am – 12:30pm

Requirements: Applicants must possess at least 2 years of post-secondary education including technical training or 3 to 5 years of consecutive, competitive employment. Applicants will be asked to complete an intake interview to be considered for the course.
