About this session

This presentation explores how universal design can be applied to swimming pool environments, moving beyond legal compliance and entry-focused accessibility, toward full participation in the aquatic experience. Drawing from an occupational therapy lens paired with extensive experience in the swimming pool industry, the proposed presentation examines how design impacts usability, safety, and inclusion across diverse aquatic settings and populations.
