Professional Volunteers 

To provide a comprehensive and well-rounded experience that features industry insights, Starkloff Disability Institute invites professional volunteers to share their knowledge through guest lectures and interactive sessions throughout our programs. Possible topics include:

Other Opportunities 

  • Parent Roundtable Presenter: Present to Dream Big families on how to successfully transition from high school to post-secondary education.  
  • Photographer: Document Starkloff candidates participating in activities, learning exercises, and conversations with professionals. 
  • Receptionist: Answer telephone calls, greet guests in the office, and assist with mail sorting. 
  • Special Events: Greet guests at special events; distribute nametags and event programs; provide general volunteer support. 
  • Internships: Build skills for your future career in business, marketing, social work, photojournalism, or nonprofit management while helping to make the world a more welcoming place for people with disabilities.
