Celebrate Disability Pride with us on the 36th anniversary of the ADA!

Join the Starkloff Network for a free screening of the Oscar-nominated documentary Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution at Arkadin Cinema.

This film is presented with closed captions and audio description.

What is Crip Camp?

Down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed in a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting the disability-rights movement. At Camp Jened, teens with disabilities tasted freedom, friendship, and self‑expression; decades later those bonds fueled protests, sit‑ins, and policy fights that reshaped American civil rights.

Through archival footage and candid interviews, Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution provides a galvanizing chronicle of community united around the fight for rights and dignity.

“A vital and joyful work that puts a lesser-known part of American civil rights history on the map”
