April is a Registered Nurse and holds a master’s degree in social work. However, she finds herself marching forward in the IT Assistive/accessibility technology space. April has been with Centene for eleven years and was the first Blind employee hired here at Centene and in a clinical nursing role. April lost her vision at the age of twenty-three and has been enthusiastic about advocating for and empowering not only individuals, but companies and technology associated to embrace the rapid growth of accessibility in the digital ecosystem. April now works as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst pushing forward evaluation and accessibility for internal facing applications that are directly impacting the ability for individuals to work with equity.

While pursuing aspirations of becoming a nurse anesthetist, Brad suffered a massive stroke that left him without use of his left hand, foot, and right side of his brain. Today, he brings over 15 years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, specializing in eligibility, enrollment, and revenue cycle transformation. Brad holds a master’s in organizational leadership and is passionate about improving systems that serve vulnerable populations.
