Dream Big Camp Lead Teacher

Collaborating closely with the Dream Big Coordinator, the Lead Teacher plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Campers receive comprehensive educational experiences and support throughout their journey. From morning company engagement to afternoon sessions, the Lead Teacher is instrumental in fostering a sense of pride in students’ disabilities and developing their ability to build confidence and essential skills for self-advocacy.

Dream Big Camp Driver

The Dream Big Camp Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting Campers of all mobility levels, including individuals who use wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and other mobility aids, to and from camp activities. This role requires a Class-E (For-Hire) License and is integral to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and empowering experience for all Dream Big Campers.

Dream Big Camp Counselor

A Dream Big Camp Counselor is responsible for supporting the Campers and Dream Big Team to ensure the camp is running smoothly. A Camp Counselor will assist Campers in participating in activities and encourage development to achieve the Campers’ goals.

Dream Big Camp Personal Care Attendant (PCA)

A Dream Big Camp PCA is responsible for supporting the Campers with their activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. The PCA should help ensure the Campers’ personal needs are met and they can participate fully in camp. SDI is seeking individuals with a strong desire to work with the population we serve.

Donor Engagement Manager

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (“CDO”), you will manage a variety of fundraising initiatives including special events, donor cultivation, annual giving, and donor stewardship. You will play the crucial role of nurturing and growing SDI’s base of supporters, guaranteeing resources to expand SDI’s mission and create a more inclusive community in St. Louis and beyond.
